Puerto Vallarta fishing report October 2019 Hi everyone We have had another great month of fishing here in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. The Month started off great with the 7th international catch and release Sportfishing Tournament that was held in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle Marina. Captain Cesar Perez won 1st place team for catch and releases of Blue and Black Marlin, Sailfish and Dorados See video below. The Blue and Black Marlin have been biting outside of Corbetena and El Banco on 12 hour fishing charters. Sailfish and Dorado have also been biting offshore as well as closer to Punta de Mita which you can do on a 8 hour fishing charter. The big Yellowfin Tuna continue to bite past the 2nd island about 90 miles offshore on 2.5 day fishing charters the average Yellowfin Tuna on overnight trips has been 80-250 lbs. The 64th Annual Marlin and Sailfish Tournament will be held November 13-16 this year in the Marina Vallarta. Inside Banderas bay on 4 and 6 hour fishing charters we have been catching Jack Crevalle, Needlefish, Skip Jacks, and small Dorado.
