| Puerto Vallarta fishing review May 2017 I Gauna Tuna, but I'll settle for any fish. My party and I have little to no fishing experience, however, we wanted to set out on a fishing "adventure" while in PV. I contacted Damon by email and he responded quickly in a very professional manner with answers to all my questions, needs, and instructions. Captain Scooby and his crew hand, Miguel, were great. They arrived on time and made us feel very comfortable and at ease. Captain Scooby's boat, Guana Tuna, was just right for us and we noticed how he took the time to keep it clean. We appreciated his knowledge, experience, humor and the banter between him and Miguel. Lol. Most of all, he made sure we would not leave the Bay without any fish. In total we caught 9 Crevalle Jack, (most catch and release) and they were just the right match for us. They definitely were a good fight. We also caught a few Bonita and Mackerel as we entered the Bay. We requested ceviche and Scooby was on it right away! He look like a professional chef preparing on of the Jacks. Lunch was excellent. The crew and boat made for a perfect day and an experience we soon won't forget. L. Cordova |
