Puerto Vallarta fishing report June 2019
There has been a lot of fish this last month.  June is right in between high
seasons for most fish the winter fish start fading away and the summer fish start
to bite. The water temps have risen very fast this last 2 weeks and we are
starting to see more Blue Marlin offshore.  Captain Steve caught one of the fist
Blue Marlins of the season on the 11th past el banco trolling with lures.  We have
also been catching Smaller Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo close to Corbetena.  The
bigger Yellowfin Tuna over a 100 lbs are biting further offshore past the 2nd
island which is about 90 miles offshore from Puerto Vallarta's Marina Vallarta.  At
the beginning of the month we saw the Striped Marlin bite move inside Banderas
bay which does not happen often but it was a great way to end the Striped Marlin
fishing season and now we on to catch the bigger Blue and Black Marlins.  This
last week the Jack Crevalle and skip Jacks have been boiling in the bay so you
can still get out right now on shorter fishing trips and catch alot of smaller action.
