| Puerto Vallarta fishing report July 2019 It is rainy season and we are really starting to feel the humidity in the afternoons. The fishing is heating up also the biggest reports have been on 2.5 day Tuna charters. The Cow Yellowfin Tuna that big time anglers dream of are boiling offshore and averaging between 100-300 lbs. On 10-12 hour days offshore La Corbetena and El Banco have been producing big Blue Marlin averaging 100-400 lbs, also Sailfish between 40-90 lbs We also found a nice school of smaller football Tuna on a few trips averaging 20-30 lbs and even a few that were around 100 lbs as well. The 13th annual Marlin and Tuna was held on the 18-20th in Nuevo Vallarta at Paradise Village. First place Marlin was caught on the Martuni the Marlin weighed 226 lbs and 1st place Tuna was 158 lbs caught by team legacy. The Puerto Vallarta inshore report has been up and down You can typically count on Skip jacks and Jack Crevalle but anything other then that has been just lucky days we found small Dorado, Roosterfish, and even a couple small Tuna 1 day.
