fishing grounds for generations Corbetena, the Bank,  and El morro. In 2007 Captain Steve Torres and crew
Freddy Rodigouz Made history by braking the long time tournament record with a 740 lb black marlin, now
Puerto Vallarta has seen its share of marlin over a 1,000 lbs but this black monster was the biggest In Puerto
Vallarta sport fishing tournament history. I felt very privileged to have been here in Puerto Vallarta to see it.  The
Puerto Vallarta fishing season has already started out with a bang with black marlins at corbetena and the
bank averaging 1-3 a day per boat and average size was 200-500 lbs the yellow fin tuna also stuck around at
the bank late this season and We are still catching nice 50-150 lb yellow fin tuna's at the bank I know there not
the 300 lb cows that We love to show off but still a great fight and some of the tastiest fish out there. Puerto
Vallarta will holds its 54th annual Puerto Vallarta fishing tournament this year the P
ez Vela e Marlin Tournament.

Corbetena and El banco are great hot spots 36 and 50 miles offshore of The
Marina Vallarta here in PV. the
high peak for big marlin is July through November. but the blues and black will normally run until  January then
the striped marlin will start when the colder water hits so you can almost catch a marlin all year around.
